چکیده
An ultrasound-assisted method was used to prepare gadolinium oxide (Gd2O3)-zeolitic imidazolate framework (ZIF)-8 nanocomposites. The surface morphology, particle size, and properties of the Gd2O3-ZIF-8 nanocomposites were examined using scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), Raman spectroscopy, ultraviolet-visible (UV-vis) spectroscopy. synthesized as a catalyst degrade methyl orange (MO) under UV light irradiation at 254 nm. color aqueous MO dye solution during photocatalytic degradation Response methodology (RSM) four-factor Box-Behnken design (BBD) experiments optimize MO. significance experimental factors their interactions determined analysis variance (ANOVA). efficiency for reached 98.05% within 40 min nm conditions pH 3.3, 0.4 g/L dose, 0.0630 mM concentration, 431.79 mg/L H2O2 concentration. kinetics study showed that followed pseudo-first-order reaction rate law.

Photocatalytic degradation of ciprofloxacin antibiotic from aqueous solution by BiFeO3 nanocomposites using response surface methodology
Ciprofloxacin antibiotic that is used to cure several kinds of bacterial infections have a high solubility capacity in water. The influent of ciprofloxacin to water resources in a low concentration affect the photosynthesis of plants, transforms the morphological structure of the algae, and then disrupts the aquatic ecosystem. 75% of this compound is excreted from the body down to the wastewate...
متن کاملPhotocatalytic Removal of Amaranth Optimization Using Response Surface Methodology
Since Amaranth (AM) is one of the dye compounds which is harmful to human’s life its removal from industrial waste water would reduce their environmental impact and health effect. Copper nanoparticle (CuNP) is a simple and eco-friendly material which can be used to remove this pollutant. In this paper, copper nanoparticles were synthesized, for removal of AM dye. The experiments were designed b...
متن کاملQuasi-free methyl rotation in zeolitic imidazolate framework-8.
Using neutron inelastic scattering and diffraction, we have studied the quantum methyl rotation in zeolitic imidazolate framework-8 (ZIF-8: Zn(MeIM)(2), MeIM = 2-methylimidazolate). The rotational potential for the CH(3) groups in ZIF-8 is shown to be primarily 3-fold in character. The ground-state tunneling transitions at 1.4 K of 334 +/- 1 mueV for CH(3) groups in hydrogenated ZIF-8 (H-ZIF-8)...
متن کاملHydrothermal synthesis of surface-modified copper oxide-doped zinc oxide nanoparticles for degradation of acid black 1: Modeling and optimization by response surface methodology
Dyes are widely used in various industries most of them are not readily biodegradable and are consisted of number of toxic, mutagenic, and carcinogenic compounds. Therefore, it is essential to remove them from effluent before their discharge to the environment. The objective of this investigation was to synthesize copper oxide (CuO) doped zinc oxide (ZnO) nanoparticles under mild hydrothermal c...
